Role Overview
We're hiring an Account Manager to take full ownership of a portfolio of restaurant clients. You'll be the primary relationship lead, working directly with owners to manage financials and drive execution on strategic projects. You'll operate as an embedded financial and operational lead, helping owners grow their business with the support of a Back-House Operations Associate, whom you'll direct on day-to-day account work. This role puts you at the center of NYC's independent restaurant scene with a front-row seat to how top hospitality brands are built and scaled.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for multiple restaurant owners
Oversee weekly financial reporting, cash flow management, and ad-hoc modeling
Own strategic projects and operational initiatives – contributing ideas, managing timelines, and driving them to completion
Coordinate across teams (bookkeeping, marketing, tech, restaurant owners/staff) to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
Proactively flag opportunities to improve margins and efficiency, and drive solutions to client pain points
Maintain documentation, SOPs, and internal notes for each account
Requirements
3+ years of experience in client services, restaurant finance, or hospitality operations
Proficient in Google Sheets or Excel, and comfortable building and interpreting financial models
Able to read a P&L, identify inefficiencies, and communicate insights clearly to a non-finance audience
Experience with QuickBooks Online, Toast, Square, or MarginEdge preferred
Comfortable owning client-facing relationships and juggling competing priorities across a portfolio – managing timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables with careful attention to detail
